if it was not for your overall GPA, I would say that you have a terrific profile. That GPA is your Achilles heal, and you know it. Your GMAT helps show you are smart, but what shows you have the required academic motivation? It might be that the grad courses you took will help, it might be smart to enroll in a class or 2 this spring, and get As. I know that if you are applying in Round 2 then Spring enrollment appears to be too late, but at least it shows initiative on your part.
