IMO D

Guys please correct me if my reasoning is wrong regarding between and among.

I feel you use between and among if you have to choose between 2 things or 2 or more things respectively.
In this sentence we are not choosing what factors help to raise millions of dollars.
We are listing the different factors that help us. So A,B,E are out.

In C deftly balanced modifies it, which is incorrect.

So only option left is D. Plus its concise and clear.

IMO D,

Here we are not talking about balance among things.

Here we are saying what is required to raise X. Ans is balance of x,y,z

Also, Takes X to raise Y is correct idiom

e.g It takes $10 to raise a child

Similarly, it takes a deft balance to raise million dollars.

Well I am not sure whether you can treat the whole phrase as one noun but..

OA is D

This is one of the 1000 SC questions: # 450
