statement 2..h<5..reaffirms what we found out in statement 1
Realize that the question is asking for d rounded to the nearest tenth (0.X), not the nearest hundredth (0.0X).
The stem is giving us useless information with the 6. When you are looking at rounding to the nearest tenth, you don't look any farther than the hundredth (not to the thousandth). So d=0.2h6, we can just look at d = 0.2h
1) d < 1/4
d < .25
therefore h <5
When rounding to the nearest tenth, if the hundredth is <5, then we drop it, so d rounded to the nearest tenth = 0.s
1 is sufficient
2) h < 5
This is just the third step from 1), so we have already solved it.
2 is sufficient
Answer is D.
