1) What is the total number of children given in the above data?
1)3236

5)None of these
Total number of Children = No. of children who play violin + No. of children who play Sitar + No. of children who play flute + No. of children who play Shehnai + No. of children who play Tabla + No. of children who play Santoor

Now, we can directly substitute number of children who play Violin, Flute, Shehnai and Tabla.
However, we need to calculate numbers from percentage for children who play Sitar and Santoor.

So, number of children who play Sitar = 35%
That means, 318 (Women) + 332 (Men) are 65% of the total number of people who play Sitar (100 - 35)
Thus, total number of people who play Sitar is 1000.
That is, the total number of children who play Sitar = 350.

Similarly, number of children who play Santoor= 36%
That means, 154 (Women) + 870 (Men) are 64% of the total number of people who play Santoor(100 - 36)
Thus, total number of people who play Santoor is 1600.
That is, the total number of children who play Santoor = 576.

Total number of Children =
198+350+1264+326+522+576 = 3236
Answer : Option A
