Dear Lisa,

I do not have any international experience. In certain applications I have come across essays on culture shock which in the true spirit means to serve as a good indicator of ur international work-ex.However,I am thinking of writing about culture shock that I experienced when I went to work for an ad-agency for 1 year after 3 years in traditional accounts firm. Will such an essay qualify and meet the requirement.

Many thanks!

Dear Preeti,

I don't know if it will qualify as I have not seen the question nor the essay instructions from the school. If the school does not specify that it must be culture shock in the sense of visiting/living in a foreign country, then I would think your example would suffice. It might be worth contacting the admissions office for clarification if you are concerned.

Good luck,
Lisa
