How much cardboard will it take to make an open cubical box with no top?
(1) The area of the bottom of the box is 16 square feet.
(2) The volume of the box is 64 cubic feet

We can calculate the side a( to be 4 feet)...So it means we have to find 5a^2???

To be clear, the question is asking you to find 5a^2. We don't actually have to do the math though. We just have to be able to see that we can.
