The best way to improve on CR is to be very familiar with the different question structures, and the various argument types used. Students who treat each CR problem on a case-by-case basis often struggle to find consistency.

Definitely read a strategy guide from some major prep company and/or watch online tutorials. You'll want to know what to look for with each question type. For example, Assumption, Evaluate, Strengthen, and Weaken questions all rely on finding a logical flaw in the argument, whereas Inference and Discrepancy questions do not.
