BurgerMan offers an assortment of packaged ready-to-eat sandwich items. This festive season it wants to add to its menu the egg-based mayonnaise sandwiches, which are considered non-vegetarian, and the vegetarian mayonnaise sandwiches, but can stock only one of the two types. Only one-third of BurgerMan's customers are vegetarians. Hence, an increase in revenue being the main motive behind the new addition to the shelves, BurgerMan should add only the egg-based mayonnaise sandwiches to its selection.

Let's understand before we answer the question
Burgerman offers an assortment package that is aimed at increasing their revenue by adding egg- based mayonnaise sandwitch.
Only one-third of Burger-Man customers are vegetarian.
Mind you, we look out for options that MOSTLY WEAKENS THE STATEMENT.

Option A;- incorrect Option
In this option it is true that proportion of sales from non vegetarians customers is almost always higher.
This is true from the question and it does not weaken the statement therefore, this option is false.

Option B;- incorrect Option
Yes.Addition of non-egg mayonnaise is costly as it tends to increase the revenue due to the ingredients that is used!
This is in line with the question it supports rather than weaken the statements which makes the option incorrect.

Option C;- incorrect Option
This is a true statement which is in true accord with the question
It does not in any way weakens the statement.

Option D;- correct Option
No! there is an anticipation of a substantial increase in overall sales value. So, don't be too quick to choose and understand that this mostly weakens the question.

Option E;- incorrect Option
This is also true and not considered to weaken the statement.
