Select the logical inference from the following statements:

At a sales seminar, a survey shows that 20% of the people attending sell only large refrigeration units and 50% of people sell only small refrigeration units. Upon leaving, 60% of the total attendees sign up to attend the next seminar.


(A) More than half of attendees at this seminar sell both large and small refrigeration units.

(B) At least half of all attendees at the next seminar will be people who sell large refrigeration units only.

(C) At least one person who attended this seminar and sells only small refrigeration units has signed up to attend the next seminar.

(D) At the next seminar, there will be more people who sell small refrigeration units only than large refrigeration units only.

(E) The next seminar will probably have more attendees than this seminar.

Answer a is incorrect because 20% sell ONLY large refrigerators and 50% - ONLY small ones. So 70% DON'T sell both types of refrigerators.
Answer b is out of scope because apart from the attendees of the current seminar, other people might sign up as well.
Answer d is incorrect since we can't know whether the next seminar will include ONLY the attendees from the current one.
Answer e is irrelevant. There is no such information in the text.
Answer c is correct. 50% of attendees of the present seminar sell ONLY small units. 60% of all attendees signed up for the next seminar. So there is no way that this 60% would not include at least one attendee who sells only small units.

Good question what is the source..

Another approach will be : try calculating people who don't sell small refrigerators. They are 50 %. So, extra 10 % needs to include someone from only small refrigerator category :). Hence C is the answer.
