Online hackers implant the viruses directly onto the drives of various host computers in exactly the right numbers for any suitable size of host hard-drive. If they planted too many viruses in a host system, the developing viral streams would compete with each other to the death for data and space. If too few viruses were implanted, portions of the main virus would decay, killing the entire stream.

Which of the following conclusions can properly be drawn from the information above?

A. Correct As given in the premise, planting too many viruses in a host system would be a failure for the hacker, because viruses will destroy themselves. Now, if hacker can not make viruses smaller than some particular size, than for any host system of small enough size, those viruses would be too much in size. Hence, hacker will not be able to infect it theoretically.

B. Incorrect No info is provided regarding defense system of hosts. May be hackers are targeting only those host systems which do not have such defense systems.

C. Incorrect Not supported. There might be some pre defined formula or some other guidance system.

D. Incorrect No info is given about rate of failure of viruses in both events.
