COURSES TO STRENGTHEN APPLICATION

by [email protected] » Tue Jul 24, 2012 6:37 pm
Hello All

I am looking to take a couple of courses to strenghten my application for biz school. I was an undergrad Pscyh major with not much of a quant background. What classes do you feel are the most important to take? I took an advanced statistics class and psych stats so i think im ok there. Should i take microeconomics? calculus? accounting? thanks !

And I would take the classes in person vs online (or a hybrid class) at a reputable university and get an A- or better!

Thanks Alex

I was planning on taking them online at a community college, i was told that it doesnt matter the place as long as its accredited and you get an A. So you dont feel i should take calc? I didnt do so well on quant on the gmat.

Hi!

Have you considered taking a course on leadership development or management consulting as a way to strengthen your application?

One such experiential learning course you could consider is USA Leadership Corps... Good luck!

Calc is in fine. Who told you that online community is ok?

I think that online community is OK but i would make the effort to do it at a better place if that is geogrpahically possible. you can get an mba on line too:)
