I earned a BS and an MS degree in engineering, so I've never taken any business courses before. I am considering attending a few elementary business courses at the local community college prior to applying and starting my MBA program in the fall of 2011. However, my target school does not transfer credit from other institutions. Will it be a waste of money and time since I may have to retake the courses anyway? Am I better off doing something else? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
