I took the GMAT a year and half ago. I got a 560. I do not remember my exact results but got just over a 600 in verbal and just under 500 in quants. I am finishing up my MBA this year and want to go into a PhD program. I have spoke to the adviser for the department and he said if I get over at least a 600 it should be fine. I personally would like to be closer to 650. I am considering taking an possible an online course. The closest city with a course is 2 hours away. I did prepare for the test last time but not as much as I could of. I looked the prep book over for around a month and took several practice tests. The last week and a half I studied for a couple hours every day. I am considering taking a prep-course because I tend to procrastinate and think that may keep me focused. Any reviews or experience with courses would be appreciated. Also any advice would be also.

Thanks
John
