Hi Stacy,
How do you do?
I recently gave my GMAT and scored 680 - 85% , Q50 - 93% , V32 - 63% .
Here's my profile:

Program: MBA(FT)
Area of interest in MBA : GM, Consulting, Finance (Merger/Acquisition)
GMAT: Total 680 (85%), Verbal: 32 (63%), Quant.: 50 (93%), AWA: Not received yet
GPA: 3.5 . Tier II university of India
Major : BE - Computer Engineering
Work experience(WE): 7 yrs. Working with Giants like Hewlett-Packard.
Current position : Team lead. Leading planning and execution of 3 different prducts
Nationality: Indian
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personal Achievement : Hold 3 patents
Extra-curriculars/community: Strong enough
Leadership instances : quite a few
Negative : Never worked in another country.

My target schools are :
Tuck, HAAS, MIT Sloan, Ross, LBS, NYU Stern, Chicago Booth, IE Spain

Could you please evaluate my profile and provide your candid feedback on my chances?

Dear pagalmba,

I think your target school list needs to be revised. You have only highly selective schools on your list where your profile is within range, but your chances are low due to the volume of applications. I would suggest narrowing down this list to the 3-4 programs that are the best match for your career goals and add 2-3 schools where your chances will be better. Your profile is very common in the applicant pool, so it is crucial you find a way to stand out from the other Indian engineers with IT sector experience. Your GMAT score is below average for most of your target schools, and will be low relative to other applicants with a similar profile. Thus it is even more imperative you make a compelling case for your admission and demonstrate how you will add value to the class.
