here's a picture that shows two possibilities. the small circle has diameter 8; that's the SMALLEST (not the biggest!) circle that can contain the two specified points.
the bigger circle -- which is so big that you can only see a small arc of it -- has a diameter much, much greater than 8. looking at this circle, you should be able to tell that you can make the circle as big as you want.
