Q1. Does Y=mX^2+h intersect with axis-x?

Q2. Y=a(x-b)^2+P. Can you tell if y intersects with x axis?

Q1. Does Y=mX^2+h intersect with axis-x?
1). m<0
2). h>0
at x axis y=0
hence mx^2 + h = 0
x= sqrt (-h/m)
now here for x to be a real nos & imaginary -h/m should be positive
which will be the case only if combine both stmst.
