coordinate system

in the rectangular coordinate system shown above, which quadrant, if any contains no point (x, y) that satisfies the inequality 2x-3y-6?

a. none
b. I
c. II
d. III
e. IV

answer is E

I assume you meant to say 2x - 3y = -6.
Start by finding the intercepts:
x = 0, then -3y = -6, with y = 2
y = 0, then 2x = -6, with x = -3.

Now you can easily graph the line to get your answer.
