In a rectangular coordinate system, which quadrant, if any, contains no point (X,Y) that satisfies the inequality 2x-3y<=6?

A.None
B.I
C.II
D.III
E.IV

I think the answer is E.) IV quadrant. Since for all other quadrants the values does satisfy the given equation.

Consider (1,-2) in IV quadrant , the equation becomes, (2*1)-3(-2)=8 which does not satisfy the equation.

The coordinate (1,-1) in the fourth quadrant makes option E untrue since 2*1+3=5 and 5 is less than 6. Therefore, the answer should be A. Remember that the problem emphasizes the fact that a quadrant contains no point (X,Y) that completes the inequality 2x-3y<=6.

IMO A

For y = 0 we get, x <=3
and for x = 0 we get y >=-2

so the area would look like what I have shown in the pic with red color. It encompasses all the 4 quadrants.. so I think the answer is A
