Hi everyone,

I am a 22 year old student from Norway holding a bachelor's degree in business administration from BI Norwegian Business School. From September and onwards, I will get my double degree. This degree is structured as follows:

1. year - master in management
-General degree where you learn about various topics that relates to managing
2. year - internship (optional)
-Internship in a company that relates to your specialization
3. year - specialization
-A master of science in a discipline of your interest. I haven't decided on this topic yet, but if I get in to HEC for a master's degree, I'd like to specialize in strategy and consultancy.

I've dreamed about HEC for a long time, but my first year at the bachelor's level wasn't strong enough for me to apply to them. Since then, I've only been getting A's and B's at BI. Keep in mind that a B in Norway equals to A/A- in USA, as we don't have pluses or minuses in our scale.
I would like to work within consultancy or banking and finance. As finance was one of my favorite topics along with strategy at BI, I feel like my master's curriculum should relate to finance as well as strategy.

But there are some uncertainties here. Should I apply to HEC in the year 2, or should I do it after year 3? I will be studying in France during the double degree aswell, so I am open to both options.
