Hi All,

Can someone please tell what all are the consecutive integers of 3 ?

a) only 2
b) only 4
c) or both 2 and 4.

if C, then does it mean that consecutive mean we need to see in both the directions ?

Thanks

I don't think I've heard the expression "consecutive integers of 3" before (I've certainly never seen an official question use this expression). I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. I can tell you that:
2,3 are consecutive integers
3,4 are consecutive integers
2,3,4 are consecutive integers

I don't know that answers your question.

Hi Brent,

Thanks.

Basically what my doubt is....is consecutive integer of N means N +1 or it means N -1 too....

Basically do we need to think in both directions when asked for a consecutive integer of N ?

Many Thanks

Please see the link. n-1 and n (2,3), n and n+1 (3,4) ARE consecutive integers, however n, n-1 (3,2) ARE NOT. I hope that helps.
