hey guys,

i keep on getting an incorrect answer for this equation:

(10(3x+4))/10-5x = 2

I keep on getting [spoiler]-1/2[/spoiler] when the answer in the book is 1. can someone confirm?

pg. 34 Drill Set 2, Drill 4, Question # 8 if you guys have the book

Are you sure you copied it correctly? Try putting (-1/2) in for x and 2 in for x. Only (-1/2) works.
