A and B are the only ones I see that are contenders and I think B works.

IMO B

C and D are out as they are in passive mode.

From A,B and E ...I think starting the sentence with 'Just As'is awkward as compred to 'As'..which looks correct.

I think "as" is enough to start the sentence, no need to use just before it.[/spoiler]

The more you suffer before the test, the less you will do so in the test!

when i first saw the problem in the practice session i was confused between A and B....just as or only as and i got it wrong...OA is B

Moving boxes means boxes used to move items from one home to another.

In C and D, boxes...increasing upward doesn't make sense; the number is increasing, not the boxes themselves. Eliminate C and D.

In E, like cannot be used to compare actions (got closer...found it harder). Eliminate E.

In A, just as means at the very moment: I walked outside just as it started to rain. Thus, A can be eliminated because it doesn't make sense to say that there was a precise moment at which Hans got closer and found it harder; closer and harder imply a situation that is progressing. Eliminate A.

The correct answer is B.

Please note also the idiom just as X, so (too) Y, which is used to compare actions:

Just as Mary swims fast, so too does John.

This idiom is not appropriate for the SC above: the actions got closer and found it harder are not being compared.
