Concert DS

Each person who attended a certain concert paid the same price for a ticket. How many people attended the concert?
A) If the ticket price had been $6 more and 100 fewer people had attended the concert, the total revenues from ticket sales would have been the same.
B) If the ticket price had been $6 less and 100 more people had attended the concert, the total revenues from ticket sales would have been $1200 less.
OA is C
But I am getting the same two variable equation from both A and B.
Lets there be X persons who attended and each person paid 'p' $. So total revenues = pX

Stmt#1: (p + 6)(X-100) = pX
pX - 100p + 6X - 600 = pX
6X - 100p = 600.

Stmt#2: (p-6)(X+100) = pX - 1200
pX + 100p - 6X -600 = pX - 1200
100p - 6X = -600

So you are correct. E has to be answer!!!

Force and mind are opposites; morality ends where a gun begins.

They are same, but 1200$ less is changing the situation. i suppose you forgot about that number.
