Hello everyone,

I am just an average student and I am not that good at English.
I can't say not good at English, but ... my English is very simple. I can't put in big and good sounding words as everyone do.
My problem is when we are given with the 1st section i.e., Essay writing, can there be any possibility of scoring less because of my English?
Please help.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Goutham,

Good news is that your problem will not be so much with the AWA section, which as a matter of fact requires you NOT to use "big and good sounding" words :)

Bad news is that you will need to assess your Verbal section. Did you take the GMATPrep? If not, then I would suggest you download it from www.mba.com and take it. The Verbal section can be worked upon and scores can be improved if you are logical in your approach.

On a larger picture I would suggest you work on it starting *now* so you can improve as much as possible. In a post-MBA world (provided you get through one) it will be all the more important.

Take care and let me know how you are faring,

Arun
