IMO A.

A. CORRECT. Clearly expresses the meaning. "I hope" is direct and concise.
B. OUT-will "hopefully" be helpful... Hopefully is wrong on the GMAT.
C. OUT-Passive, thus WORDY.. AWKWARD.
D. OUT-Whoa !! This has too many commas, too many modifiers.. Do I need to to explain this at all ?
E. OUT. "Hopeful to me" !! AWKWARD ..

OA is C

A - contains this "you directors" which is awkward. Moreover, the repeated use of "company" makes this choice a loser.
B - "hopefully" is not the right word.
C - Correct. But IMO, the "It" does not seem to have a clear antecedent. Any clarifications on this pl..?
D - is grammatically correct, but too cumbersome and lots of commas. Stylistic issues, i guess..
E - "It's hopeful to me" does the bad here..

Well , I can explain that part. The "It" need not have an antecedent as this It is called the placeholder "it". Usually you will find these "it" usages in the beginning of a standalone sentences.

After seeing the explanation I do agree with the OA.

could someone who has taken the gmat , confirm whether you got such questions on the gmat .
These scs are unlike the ones on the gmatprep .
I came a cross a few debriefs on gmatclub by people who got very convoluted Scs .
I Seek Explanations Not Answers
