If equation |x/2| + |y/2| = 5 encloses a certain region on the coordinate plane, what is the area of this region?

question like this can be done easly by drawing the figure by taking simple values such as 0 or 1

for this case Ix/2I + Iy/2I=5
to solve this put x=0 find value for y and then put y=0 and find the value for x

here we get when x=0;y=+-10 and when y=0;x=+-10

after plottng we will get a rhombus of diagonal 20 each
area of rhombus=1/2*d1*d2=1/2*20*20=200
It does not matter how many times you get knocked down , but how many times you get up
