= (pie)/6 - sqrt(3)/4 ................ (1)
Area of shaded region = Area of triangle + 3 (1)
= sqrt(3)/4 + 3[(pie)/6 - sqrt(3)/4]
= [(pie) - sqrt(3)]/2
