Change in job function/team size

Hi Amy,

Two weeks after I applied to most schools, my job function and team size changed. I was managing an 18 member team and now it has dropped to 9 since the client decided to consolidate all work to one vendor. The remaining members of my team have stayed back for special projects which will probably go on for another 2-3 months.

How do I handle this in the interview? Should I send an update to the school first or just let my interviewer know during the interview? Or should I just speak about my career till 3 weeks ago in the interview?

Thanks in advance

Hi momentary_lapse,

I'm not entirely sure what you think you need to say - did you lose your job? Did your title change? If not, I'm not sure if the change in the size of your team is very relevant.

Good luck!
