Carpenters, dentists, sewing machine operators, needlepointers, piano players, and indeed anyone who works with their hands for long hours can get carpal tunnel syndrome.

(A) anyone who works
(B) anyone working
(C) workers
(D) those for whom work is
(E) any people who work

I think its E.

A- Every other profession is plural
B- this violates the parallelism needed
C- this changes the meaning and adds ambiguity
D- Whom is incorrect

the non underlined part is having pronoun their , which asks for a plural sub
only option E is providing a plural sub
C however is lacking verb

I missed that "anyone" is singular and chose A. :(

E can not be correct answer b'coz when we say 'anyone ' then we are obviously including Carpenters, dentists, sewing machine operators, needlepointers, piano players etc etc.. so 'ANYONE' will cause to include them once again.

After mentioning C , D , S , M and N we need to look for those workers which are not included till yet.

Only option D fits the bill.

New suggestions are welcome...
