Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a Private University situated on the outskirts of Jalandhar, Punjab. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, and over 4000 faculties and staff, offering 300+ programs across its 45 departments. LPU is also ranked 23rd among the Top Universities of India and is ranked 2nd in Business and Economics, 8th in Clinical and Health, 9th in Computer Science, and 6th in Engineering & Life Sciences in all of India as per the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023. As per the NIRF 2022 report, the university is ranked 34 for MBA and 51 for the B.Tech program. The total fees of Lovely Professional University’s MBA and B.Tech(CSE) courses are INR 7.6 lakhs and INR 9.6 lakhs respectively. In addition, LPU also offers regular and distance learning courses in commerce, humanities, law, pharmacy, and others via Lovely Professional University Distance Education (LPUDE). Admission to all the programs is based on LPUNEST followed by a Personal Interview. The test also forms the basis of eligibility for rewarding scholarships up to INR 6 lakhs per year. The university also accepts several national entrance test scores for admission.
