Hi Guys,

I am very very confused with the scores I am getting as I am not really able to gauge my real level and take a date...here are my scores AND i would really appreciate if someone can help me in understanding the same.

1. Gmat Prep 1 : 680 (Took in Last week of Nov)
Q 49 V 36

2. Princeton CAT 1 : 740 (Took Mid Dec)
Q 51 V 42

3. Princeton CAT2 : 660 (Took this sat)
Q 44 - I had only 3 questions wrong here first one was 18th question.
v36 - I had ONLY 7 questions wrong here

4. Kaplan CAT 1 : 570 (:((( )
Q 46 -- 11 QUESTIONS incorrect
V 36 -- 21 Questions incorrect

Guys am very confused whether I am prepared enough to target a 700 plus or not .....and which testst are most accurate besides GMAT Prep.

Can somone help please.....

Kaplan has been known to evaluate differently than other tests. Consequently the scores you achieve also appear to be a lot lower. Your true indicators are GMATPrep and PowerPrep. Focus on those alone. MGMAT comes close but are known to be tough.

I agree, the GMAT Prep tests are the best indicators. Also, your scores other than that Kaplan score were virtually within the margin of error, so I'd just call it an outlier.

Most people tend to do roughly similar on the real GMAT as they did on their last practice test, assuming that test was a GMAT Prep test.

Thanks guys, i understand kaplan is way off the mark so am just using it as practice for now and not taking the scores seriously.

I assume I should see my range as 660-740 ...though am happy about 740 one , not too happy with the lower range....

thanks guys....will try taking a mgmat and let me see what i score there......

Hi-

Is GMAT Prep test like Kaplan/ PR? How do I obtain a GMAT Prep test or MGMAT? I have been using Manhattan GMAT. How do you guys feel about their practice tests?

Thank you.
