Is the right version :
There are more members of the city council that support the proposal than those that oppose it.
IS there are after than wrong. More X than Y
more members of the city council that support the proposal than those that oppose it

I got this sentence from below forum, which gives incorrect sentences.
I posted this question to know why the comparisons are wrong. Hence
The sentences are neither underlined nor have 5 options

I believe the post would be useful in understanding comparsions
as I didnt find the correct versions of these choice anywhere
