"The common notion that workers are generally apathetic about management issue is false, or at least outdated: a recently published survey indicates that 79 percent of the nearly 1,200 workers who responded to survey questionnaires expressed a high level of interest in the topics of corporate restructuring and redesign of benefits programs."

Cheers.

1) Can 1200 represent the whole worker class?
2) The respondents to the survey could have lied for various reasons.
3) Even in the response, 21% is still uninterested. It is very high to say it is not common. It is almost one in five.
4) the 2 issues in the survey are not representative of management issues. There can be more challenging ones.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)
