Hello friends,

I took the GMAT a few months ago and score a 620 ( Q-49 & V - 27) and took the TOEFL afew weeks ago and score a 110. All other requirements for a top ten school ( MIT or Yale) being good or very good, please advice whether I can bank on my high TOEFL score to compensate for my low GMAT verbal.

Thanks in advance for your objective advice in advance.

Hello,

The high TOEFL score will always strengthen your application. But I do not believe it will mitigate the low GMAT for the top-tier schools.
