I just applied for the Santa Clara University evening MBA program where an interview is only required at the discretion of AdCom. With a GMAT score of 560 (slightly below SCU's average), GPA of 3.14 (about average), 4 years of WE and minimal community service, I got called in for an interview with a member of the AdCom. From my understanding, applicants to this program are only interviewed if their documented qualifications are not strong enough. Should I be concerned that my chances of getting in now are significantly lowered? Does anyone know how common interviews are for SCU applicants applying for the evening MBA program (or other programs were interview is not required across all applicants)?
