Caffeine is a chemical compound that stimulates the human central nervous system. Research into the effects of caffeine has been performed by a myriad of companies from different places around the world, and new evidence is published every few months. High caffeine intakes cause nervousness and insomnia in some subjects while drowsiness and repose are experienced by others. Furthermore, some people report a laxative effect while in others it can result in constipation.

Which of the following conclusions is most strongly supported by the information above?

A) Since there is not enough consistency with regards to results, research of such a chemical is not advantageous and should be discontinued.
B) The individuality of human subjects creates difficulty when attempting to form a definitive judgement about the symptoms of caffeine.
C) Caffeine does not affect the central nervous system in all people and, therefore, physiological symptoms can also vary.
D) Caffeine can act as an addictive substance causing unpleasant side effects and harm to the human body's basic functions.
E) To conduct more accurate research, examinations should be carried out on larger test groups.

Option A - INCORRECT.
The statement in this option is a misunderstanding of the various researchers result. It lacks understanding of the reason and the conclusion derived after critical examination of the researchers reasoning. The result of researches done on such chemical is of great advantage in saving human lives and should not be discontinued.

Option B - CORRECT.
It is possible for human criticism to affect researchers conclusion on the effect of and symptoms of caffeine. This reasoning is due to the fact that individual difference is a major criteria when it comes to findings and making valid reasoning without personality factors. Same also is the fact that symptoms occur differently on individuals who take caffeine and this is why it is unreasonable to decide that symptoms occur in the same form on people who take caffeine, that is why there is cases of laxative and constipation in different individuals.

Option C - INCORRECT
According to the research done, caffeine's affect the center nervous system of those who take it, that is why psychological symptoms varies according to level of intake by individuals.

Option D - INCORRECT.
This option is an advice or a warning against the intake of caffeine, the result expected after the intake of caffeine by individuals but it is not well detailed enough.

Option E - INCORRECT.
This option is also an advice on how to acheive an effective result and clarifications where needed on the intake of caffeine.
