Doubt on Pronoun reference

by Lipin » Sun May 03, 2009 11:48 am
Isn't it the pronoun should be referring to the closest noun? And in such case them will be referring to "phone companies" . And in that option"A" should be the right choice? please someone clear me on this. Thanks
