Buying MGMAT Preps in MGMAT Store vs. Amazon

Hi guys. I would like to buy "The 8 Manhattan GMAT Strategy Guides". It's $208 original price or $187.20 with the BeatTheGMAT discount. On the other hand same 8 books cost $137.28 on Amazon.com.

Key thing for me is online tests. Could you please clarify if I'm getting same online materials (6 Computer Adaptive Practice Exams + 8 Online Question Banks, each corresponding to one of the 8 Strategy Guides) in case of purchase of all 8 books on Amazon ?

Thank you!

Hi expert,

All new copies of our Strategy Guides come with the 6 ManhattanGMAT CAT Exams and matching Question Banks. Hence, if you were to buy a new guide from Amazon, your books could come with an access code that would allow you to register your book for the CAT exams and Question Banks. However, make sure you don't purchase a book from Amazon's marketplace! The books in the marketplace are generally sold at a lower price, but this is generally because they are used books sold by Amazon users. If you do purchase a used book and it doesn't contain an access code or its access code is expired, you would be ineligible for access to the accompanying online resources.

I hope this helps. Good luck studying!

Does that mean I can buy any one of the MGMAT books online from Amazon's store and have access to all 6 CAT practice exams?

Thanks

Hi tygger,

Yes - that's correct! Just make sure it's from the main Amazon Store and NOT the Marketplace.

Hi!

The fourth edition of our Manhattan GMAT guides did indeed come out in May 2009, so they should be the same edition.

Best Wishes,
