I understand that "legacy" status is not relevant to admissions committees at business schools. That said, I wonder if my "legacy" status is an exception to that rule.
My father is a long tenured, somewhat prominent business professor at a state business school. He received an MBA and doctorate at one of the top 3 business schools and briefly taught there in the late seventies before accepting a position at his current employer.
Does his background make any difference for my application to the top 3 business school he graduated from? Does it make a difference at any other school (besides the state school he teaches at today)?
