Business Courses

by Wildbub » Tue Oct 25, 2011 7:55 pm
Hi
I wanted to ask what is a good source of taking business courses prior to applying to B-Schools. I'm from healthcare background and have no idea about business topics such as finance, accounting, commerce etc. I know Duke asks for a calculus course requirement prior to the start of the MBA program. Some other schools recommend Microeconomics, Finance, Accounting etc. Do I have to enroll in a community college or can I do them online? How many credit hours are required?
Please suggest

Well, basic calculus as well as accounting are really useful, cause you get really basic skills on which to build your knowledge plus when you write your essays you can always write "Hey I took some courses" to show how clever and dedicated you are!
