C, D - OUT

'that' refers to atmosphere rather than interactions. Interaction affects the global climate not atmosphere.

E - OUT

As compares clauses.

A - Parallel

collects , transmits , affect

A is the best here.

While solving, I got a random thought.

What if the following were the ONLY choices.

atmosphere, interactions that affect
atmosphere; interactions that affect
atmosphere - interactions that affect

can someone pls comment which one would be better and why.
Your explanations would help me understand the appropriateness
of ; and - in this sentence.

thanks
