School of Agriculture offers programs with up to date curriculum designed to suits the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The school offers world class equipped laboratories, library and faculty for one to one assistance.

Special emphasis is given to students for hand on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units.

LPU receives highest NAAC grade i.e. A++ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education , Government of India .
The university offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme that is approved by ICAR . It produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production. The eligibility criteria is -
Qualifying LPUNEST* and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in:
(a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
OR
(b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) with English
OR
(c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent
The programme fees per semester is 120000 INR , without any scholarship , that can be reduce after qualifying test . Moreover, the programme specific outcomes are as follows -
Impart knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts of crop production, its management and need for sustainable development
Develop the ability to know farming practices and their scope to improve in the rural areas and the environments.
Apply knowledge of basic science through Agricultural microbiology, Plant biochemistry and Biotechnology.
Apply knowledge of Agri-business management and finance to develop profitable agricultural system.
