1st Error - We need IS instead of ARE in the first part of sentence.
Rarely fatal is the Bite NOT the Spiders. Correcting this error leaves us with C, D and E.

E - they is used instead of it – Hence E is out ..

C - their is used incorrectly - Hence C is out ..

D correctly retains its to modify spider ..

hope it helps ..

None of the options, except (A) which is wrong, has the word 'bite' in it.

IMO the correct sentence should be

The bite of brown recluse spider is rarely fatal, it causes chronic flesh wounds and poses the greatest danger to infants and the elderly, who are particularly vulnerable to spider's poison.

I feel none of these is correct, BITE is missing in all sentences except A and A also has error:
Although the bite of brown recluse spiders are rarely fatal, they cause chronic flesh wounds, posing the greatest danger to the infant and elderly, who are particularly vulnerable to its poison: bite is the subject and should be followed by singular verb.

None of the options are correct..

It is the BITE which causes the wounds.. Not the spiders.

Only A has Bite in it.. but its not grammatically correct..
