Bottles

As the world's top collector of bottles, Ron has ten times as many bottles as does Marry, a mere hobbyist.

Is "as does" correct here or should it be "has"?

I'd say neither. You have a ** AS ... AS idiom.

Ron has ten times AS MANY bottles AS Mary, a mere hobbyist.

I believe you can have does or remove it, both are grammatically correct.

Ron has ten times as many bottles as has Marry, a mere hobbyist.
