Hi

I am pretty much aware of format and all stuff. Need to brush up concepts and rusty in maths.
I can spend 3-4 hrs per day and want to take test either last day of JULY or 1 or 2nd of AUG.

Please help.

Have you done any practice so far?

If you can provide some additional information, then I'll be happy to advise:

1) What is your score goal?
2) When do you plan to apply to School (and do you have a "1st choice"?)?

If you have not taken a full-length practice CAT yet, then that task is a good first step. You can download 2 free CATs from www.mba.com. It takes about 4 hours to complete the exam, so make sure that you have enough time set aside to do so. Once you have that result, you can post back here for some additional advise about your plans.

You should know that many Test Takers need 3 months (or more) to properly prepare for the GMAT, so some adjustments to your timeline might have to be made.

To help you use the BTG site to effectively prepare, you can use the tagging feature to focus on one topic at a time. For example, here are all of the questions tagged as statistics questions: https://www.beatthegmat.com/forums/tags/ ... statistics
See the left side of that linked page for more tag options.

Also, while completing questions from the Official Guide (OG), you should you use an Error Log (aka Improvement Chart). You can find a free downloadable Improvement Chart here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-error-log. This will help you identify and strengthen your weak areas.

Finally, you should spend a lot of time reviewing the responses from the Experts on this site. They model the steps one should take when tackling math problems.
