My stake on B

It is given that the pesticide should be spread only when there are no potatoes.

Now, to support the use of pesticide, we have to prove some way that the nematodes do not harm potatoes once they grow.

B, clearly says that nematodes affect only roots. That means spreading of pesticides when no potatoes are there would prove to be fruitful.

D- does not indicate that the 9/10 nematodes will come out when pesticide is spread when no potatoes are present I may be possible that 9/10 nematodes come out only when the potatoes are there in the fields. What you say?
