I am just starting on my study plan. I have an MBA but am apply for PHD. I need at least a 700. I have been out of school for awhile. English is my first and only language.

The following items were recommended:

Powerscore CR bible
The 8 Manhattan books
Manhatan test booklet with marker
The 3 Official Guide

I would like opinions about this list.

Would you add or change any of the books?
Is it necessary to buy both the Power CR and the Manhattan CR?
Is the Powerscore SC better than Manhattan SC?

Also - what is anybody opinion on online on demand review programs? Do they really help that much?

All suggestions and comments will be appreciated.

I have the same exact list but I'd add the Kaplan GMAT math review in there before you even start on the actual MGMAT material.

there's no need to buy more than one of the official guides. i think there is significant overlap between the latest 2 versions (OG 11 and OG 12 i believe) so just buy one of them.

mgmat SC is considered to be the best for sentence correction, so get that one instead of the powerscore.

i used the powerscore LSAT LR bible (basically a more beefed up version of the powerscore GMAT CR). i think the powerscore book for CR is great, and you probably wouldn't need the MGMAT CR as well.

I think he means the OG12 and the supplemental verbal and quant books
