how can I find the list of the best MBAs divided by the following areas: Finance, Consulting, Marketing, General Management?

Also, what Columbia in particular is good for?

Any insights on what Columbia does better? In the rankings that you gave, it seems that Columbia has a good position for Finance, Management, Marketing, and another couple of areas, plus I know that many people from consultancy go there. Since these are all quite different areas, is there a field on which it excels more?

Well, it's also because of the location. Keep in mind that almost all Top schools have lots of folks going into Finance and Consulting, so that's pretty standard. Also think in terms of location - so TV, advertising, publishing, are all solid NY sectors. In addition Columbia is pretty well-known for entrepreneurship.
