Best evaluation test..

I am just starting my GMAT preparations.. I scoured these forums and got to learn that GMATPrep and Princeton Review (free) online test both can be taken as evaluation tests..

I've downloaded GMATPrep and got my userid created in Princeton.. However I ain't sure which one I can take to know where I stand before embarking on this (much looked forwarded to) journey.

Can veterans tell me how I can time these.. like which test should I take now.. which can be taken mid-way through and at the end of the course?

Also, I have decided to buy OG 11, Manhattan Sentence Correction and Kaplan 800. Any comments on this set?

I would hold off on buying K800 until you see how you score on a practice test. It has some of the toughest questions you will encounter, so you might want to wait on that one until you've mastered the Easy and Medium difficulty questions, and are scoring above 650 or so on practice exams.

If your first practice exam already puts you at that level, go for it!
