Scott and his team at Personal MBA Coach were absolutely incredible to work with. As someone without a lot of connections with business school experience/aspirations, finding a consultant was an important step that I had decided on quite early in my application journey. After shopping around the different options for a bit, I chose to work with Scott and his team for a couple of different reasons: they provide extremely comprehensive support, I felt that Scott genuinely cared about my MBA journey, and they had a great track record for M7 programs.
From the start, Scott and his team were masterful in helping me craft my story, patient in my many essays and resume revisions, and honest in their recommendations from an admissions perspective. I initially had the least confidence in my essays, resume, and interviews, and with the support of the editing and interview prep teams, I was as confident in those as ever. For perspective, I applied to seven schools, received six interviews, and was then admitted to all six, some with significant scholarships. From those results alone, I think the quality of the support really speaks for itself, and I credit much of it to each step being handled by true experts.
Finally, I think what really sets Scott apart from the other admissions consultants is his accessibility — I’ve had many small questions pop up throughout my application process (ranging from financial aid, application strategy, logistics, etc), and he’s been very patient and prompt in his responses. He really understands that every component of the application matters.
Results-wise, I will be attending my top choice of MIT Sloan this fall. Outside of that, I was also admitted to CBS ED and Wharton, and I additionally was admitted to Kellogg, Ross, and Stern with significant scholarships (with Stern being a full ride). As someone who initially was not confident at all with the admissions process, this cycle was a tremendous success, and I could not have done it without the support of Scott and his team. I would highly recommend working with Scott and his team at Personal MBA Coach for personal, knowledgeable, and comprehensive support in your business school applications.
Best admission consultant companies?
With the help of Scott and the entire Personal MBA Coach team, I was accepted to 5 of my 6 schools with 1 waitlist (all T15 programs). I received over $375k in scholarship funding, including $115k to an M7 and a full ride to a T15 program. The investment in Scott and his team is well worth it. The essay feedback forced me to reflect on the “why’s” of my application, which ultimately made me a stronger candidate and be more prepared for interviews. They helped me tailor my story for each school, all without compromising the authenticity of my voice. It is no small feat applying to six schools, but with the project management tool and guaranteed next day turn around for essay edits, I was able to submit strong applications well ahead of the application deadlines. Scott and his team also provided excellent interview preparation from comprehensive prep guides to mock interviews. I am confident I would not have received the results I did without the support of Scott and his extremely talented team. I would 10/10 invest in their services again!

Hi Machichi,
The question you asked is very relevant. As there are hundreds of MBA Admissions Consulting firms, its indeed very difficult to comprehend the best consultants in the industry.
In my opinion, the consultants who are dong it full time for a considerable amount of time are more reliable than part timers in any big/medium/small consulting firms. See the video review of the consultant. Or at least LinkedIn reviews. Those are very authentic in nature. Such reviews will let you know about the consultant. Thereafter, you make your choice.
I see a lot of rating of MBA admission consultants in various sites. But I am not sure what to infer out of those ratings.

Initially, I thought I could handle my MBA application on my own. However, after being waitlisted at my dream school, Wharton, I realized I needed professional help to improve my chances of acceptance. I found Scott and his waitlist strategy package, and he was very responsive and gave me valuable tips and advice during our call. His suggestions were especially helpful since they contradicted some of the advice I had received from friends and family.
Scott's experience working with Wharton waitlist applicants was evident, and I appreciated his straightforward and honest approach. After following his advice and getting his help with my update letter, I was thrilled to be accepted at Wharton about 1.5 months later. I'm so glad I signed up for Scott's waitlist strategy. He's a pro who's been in the game for a long time, and he knows what he's doing. I highly recommend Scott to anyone seeking help with their MBA applications, and I wish I had used his services from the beginning. Thanks for everything, Scott!
